When the track is selected the pattern plays well when the track isn't selected, or when bouncing in place, the timing is seriously compromised: different riff patterns get selected and the internal tightness of these riffs becomes sloppy, almost as if swing is introduced whereas the original pattern is 100% straight. I have an 8-bar pattern with two chord changes per bar which runs well with input quantize in SFG either off or on best with about 20 ticks negative MIDI delay on the track, all notes quantized on the grid 100%.
